At Longford Park, we are so incredibly proud of each and every one of our pupils. Every day, the children arrive at school with a willingness to learn and their academic progress and attainment reflects not only their amazing hard work, but that of our whole staff team.
Our children leave primary school not only equipped for learning at secondary school, but with skills they will need in everyday life as they get older. We pride ourselves on ensuring our pupils have a strong moral compass, ready to tackle any problem they might encounter!
In collaboration with our pupils, we have decided on some key values for Longford Park school.
These values are referred to as Longford ‘STARS’.
Self-Esteem: We are confident
Trust: We are honest and have belief in ourselves and others
Aspire: We are the best we can be
Respect: We give and earn respect
Supportive: We are kind, helpful and nurturing to each other and our environment
On a daily basis in school, children are taught what these behaviours look like and sound like with adults modelling these to them. The values are also woven into our Jigsaw lessons and whole school Thrive approach, where children’s social, emotional and personal growth is developed.
Longford Park Primary School values and celebrates all achievements. All classes have reward systems and we have weekly and termly assemblies congratulating children on their successes. We also welcome achievements outside of school to be shared with our school community.
