Performance

In 2015_16 new statutory assessment guidance for Key Stage 1 & 2 was given by the Government.  This meant that schools moved away from levels and assessed children's attainment and progress against age-related expectations (ARE). There is no direct comparison between these two measures.  KS1 outcomes continue to be based on teacher assessments.  In KS2, writing outcomes are based on teacher assessments and outcomes in maths and reading are reported from test results.
